This is a 1 day excursion that begins from Dubrovnik at 8:30 Am in a Mercedes van with a maximum group size of 7 people.
Leaving Dubrovnik you see the unparalleled coastline of the Dalmatian coast on the 45 kilometer drive to the small town of Mali Ston for Oysters that are grown and harvested in the bay. Then you proceed to the town of Ston for the longest natural stone wall after the Great wall of China.
Then as you begin to go inland the vineyards of Peljesac begin to show themselves everywhere and the wine tasting begins.
The 1st is winery Milos at th Potomlje, and the 2nd is winery Grgic at the Trstenik, and by that time you are ready for the Dalmatian meal of a lifetime.
We take a swim in the Adriatic sea that provides such a incredible environment for the grapes to grow and become fine wine.
Beffore lunch we visit monastery at the Kuna and donkey farm.
Lunch is in the small village of Kuna at the Antonivic family cellar in which you are surrounded by actual prsuto and bacon hanging from the ceiling and EVERYTING is homemade.
Konoba Antunović is over 300 years old, but in pleasant atmosphere inside these ancient walls and the smell of smoked meat under wooden joists everybody who wants domestic food, good drink and pleasant ambient will definitely enjoy himself.
The meal begins with domestic prsuto and cheese, followed by homemade soup and bread to die for.
Then comes the main course of Lamb "under the bell" which is lamb and potatoes cooked in the traditional way over an open fire under a cast iron bell.
Then there is the wonderful house wine that flows beginning to end, both red and white which were born by the rocky land of Pelješac.
As we exit the restaurant, both full and satisfied, 3 hours later we head back to Dubrovnik, but with a stop first to winery Matusko and then for a swim and a coffee refresh us for the lovely ride back, arriving about 7:00 PM at the hotel or Pile gate .
The has provided everything from scenery to oysters to ancient cities to wine tasting to Dalmatian food to swimming in the Adriatic, all in great comfort and with a wonderful guide.

Man truly confirms himself in his environment, by continuous saying and trying for the better and more beautiful world. The tradition of viticulture and wine making on the Peljesac Peninsula is hundred years old. Plavac Mali, synonym for the wines of Peljesac, is grown on 10 impressive hectares of vineyard, on the Ponikve block. Trstenik - in the small tourist settlement located in gorgeous bay on the central part of peninsula Pelješac is situated Grgić winery which has been established by Miljenko Grgić, one of most known winemakers in the world.
Experience acquired during longtime work in the area of winegrowing and wine production guarantees the production of most quality wines world-renowned.
With his premium wines Grgić Plavac mali and Grgić Pošip has acted on numerous assessments and tastings and received numerous prizes and recognitions.
In the modern winery in Trstenik tourists can enjoy in tasting of wines as well as in the sightseeing through the winery.
Premium wines are placed in reservoirs for the cold fermentation which are imported from California, after what they grow ripe in oak barrels „barique " where with the small amount of air, through wood pores, wine breathes and develops.
At the same time, extracts and pleasant smell of vanilla from the oak enrich the wine. Final ripening proceeds in bottles of 0,75 l in the cold cellar for around 6 months.
